Because you want to grow more than your portfolio

When can I retire? How much money will I need in retirement and how long will my funds last? Should I purchase an RRSP or TFSA? How should my pension at work be invested and my own personal RRSP? How can I pass my estate on to my spouse or children efficiently? How do I make sense of the pension options being presented to me from my employer? Will I have enough money to put my children through University? These are some of the many challenging questions we are asked daily by our clients and there is no simple answer. Every client has a unique set of circumstances and a personalized approach is necessary.

Our Retirement Plans and Estate Services are customized for each client. They are presented in a written format and are monitored on an annual basis. Your plan is never a static plan, and changes in your personal situation will affect your plan and will require changes. Some of these changes may be as a result of factors out of either of our control, such as an illness or a job loss. Other changes may be as a result of changes to your pension plan, regulatory changes with CPP, OAS or taxes. Some changes may also be requested by you, such as the desire to retire at a different date or the addition of a family member. For these reasons and a host of other reasons your plan should be monitored on a regular basis. All of these and a host of other macro-economic factors go into building a plan for you and your family.

Our services do not stop here. We work with you and your family when you are ready to ensure a smooth passing of your estate and try to minimize probate and legal fees. We provide counseling on will preparation and powers of attorneys and have a referral service to a competent cost effective lawyer. We ensure your portfolio is properly invested for your age and risk profile and hold at minimum, annual reviews. We work with some of the best companies in Canada to ensure your personal investment goals are being achieved. We will also work with your accountant or can offer a referral to a trusted accountant to ensure when it is time to take money out of an RRSP or RRIF that it is being done as efficiently as possible.

We are committed to providing a superior level of personal service to each one of our clients. As Financial Planners®, we offer invaluable knowledge that can be applied to your situation. We continue to challenge ourselves by regularly attending seminars, conferences and other industry related educational opportunities to ensure that we are able to pass along this knowledge to you.
